The Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster is also one of the popular rides. It is one of the fastest rides at the height of 3100 feet, which comes with manual breaks so you can enjoy more control of your ride.


From the other several activities here, you can also enjoy outdoor snow tubing and axe throwing. Apart from that, one of our favorite activities in the Smoky Mountains is ziplining. There are many zipline options considering the view, height, and distance. The Climb Works offers a ziplining experience on the mountaintops. If you’ve kids above 5, you can take them to Legacy Mountain, Jayell Ranch, or Adventure Park Zip Line.

4- See the native wildlife

The Smoky Mountains will be a haven if you’re an animal lover. It is home to several species of mammals, birds, and reptiles. One of the most commonly seen animals here is the black bear. The white-tailed deer is another common specie, but you must be quiet and steady if you want to see them.

If you want to take a closer look at the Smoky Mountains’ native wildlife, you can take them to the Wildlife Encounter. There are over hundreds of species here living in their natural habitat. If you’ve toddlers, the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo is a great place to take your kids. You can pet and feed animals like camels, llamas, zebras, deer, horses, and ponies. You can even feed the cute baby goats and click your kids’ pictures with them.

The diner also has a kid’s menu that includes hot dogs, mac and cheese, and chicken tender meals. Mama’s Farmhouse is a great family-style restaurant if you’re looking for a place that packs a healthy and filling lunch. If you’re interested in exotic seafood, stop at Chesapeake’s Seafood and Raw Bar.
